Request for Expressions of Interest Consultancy Services - Project Coordinator Drip
the Disaster Risk Management Authority of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas (drm Authority) Has Received Financing From the Caribbean Development Bank (cdb) in An Amount Equivalent to Us$750,000 (seven-hundred and Fifty Thousand United States Dollars) Towards the Cost of the Disaster Resilience Improvement Project and Intends to Apply a Portion of the Proceeds of This Financing to Eligible Payments Under a Contract for Which This Invitation is Issued. Payments By Cdb Will Be Made Only at the Request of the Drm Authority and Upon Approval By Cdb and Will Be Subject in All Respects to the Terms and Conditions of the Financing Agreement. the Financing Agreement Prohibits Withdrawal From the Financing Account for the Purpose of Any Payment to Persons Or Entities, Or for Any Import of Goods, If Such Payment Or Import, to the Knowledge of Cdb, is Prohibited By a Decision of the United Nations Security Council Taken Under Chapter Vii of the Charter of the United Nations. No Party Other Than the Drm Authority Shall Derive Any Rights From the Financing Agreement Or Have Any Claim to the Proceeds of the Funds.
the Disaster Risk Management Authority, the Executing Agency, Now Wishes to Procure Consultancy Services for a Project Coordinator for the Disaster Resilience Improvement Project (drip).
the Objective of the Consultancy is Project Management Services to Facilitate the Smooth Coordination, Development and Execution of All Components of the Drip. This Project Aims to Improve the Effectiveness of the Drm Authority to Plan for, Respond to, and Recover From Disasters in a Gender-responsive and Socially-inclusive Manner. the Project Coordinator Will Be Expected to Coordinate and Oversee All Project Activities, Ensuring Timely and Successful Project Completion. This is a Full-time Role with Duration of the Assignment Expected to Be for a Period of Up to 24 (twenty-four) Months. Due to the Nature of the Assignment, the Position Will Require the Successful Candidate to Be Based in New Providence, the Bahamas. No Relocation Packages Will Be Provided.
